About Sahumitos
"Sahumitos" are small bundles or preparations of dried herbs that are lit and allowed to smolder, producing fragrant smoke. These bundles are often used in rituals, ceremonies or personal practices to cleanse the energy of a space, ward off negative influences and invite positive energies.
The ingredients used in Sahumitos can vary, but often include dried herbs such as sage, cedarwood, lavender, rosemary, and other aromatic plants. Each herb is believed to have its own specific properties and energies. White sage, for example, is often used for cleansing and clearing negative energies, while cedarwood is associated with protection and grounding.
In a Sahumito ceremony, you light the herb bundle, allow it to catch fire, and then blow out the flames so that the herbs smolder and produce smoke. The smoke is then wafted into a room, over objects, or around a person's body to cleanse and purify them.
Sagrada Madre
Sagrada Madre means Holy Mother, Pancha Mama, and this name reflects how the raw materials are handled during production.
In addition to coal, an odorless fruit-based biomass is used as fuel. Every year, many tons of fruit biomass remain unused. Sagrada Madre uses these precious materials in the incense sticks.
All Sagrada Madre smoking variants are carefully packaged in attractive natural packaging in order to have as little impact on the environment as possible.
